What do you do when you do not want a Wedding Registry but Cash only?

My girlfriend & I lived together for 4 yrs, now we are getting marry. Everyone wants to give us something, but I just do not need another fondue set :O) We need CASH to pay for the big wedding reception, how do I ask?
